| Working Principle |
1. Exhaust Gas-Driven Rotation: Hot exhaust gas from the engine’s combustion chamber flows into the turbine housing, impacting the turbine wheel and causing it to spin at high speeds (up to 140,000 RPM). |
| 2. Air Compression: The turbine wheel is connected to a coaxial compressor wheel; as the turbine spins, it drives the compressor wheel to draw in ambient air and compress it to high density. |
| 3. Combustion Optimization: Compressed air is delivered to the engine’s intake manifold (after cooling in the intercooler, if equipped). The denser air allows more fuel to be injected and burned completely, significantly increasing engine power and torque. |
| 4. Continuous Cycle: As long as the engine runs, exhaust gas drives the turbocharger, creating a self-sustaining cycle of air compression and power enhancement. |
