• Function

1.Cold - start phase: When the engine is cold, the 248-5513 temperature regulator remains closed, blocking the flow of coolant to the radiator. This allows the engine to warm up quickly and reach its operating temperature efficiently, reducing fuel consumption and emissions during the cold - start phase.

2. operation phase: Once the engine reaches its desired operating temperature, the temperature regulator opens, allowing coolant to flow through the radiator. The coolant absorbs heat from the engine and releases it to the atmosphere through the radiator, thus maintaining the engine temperature within a stable range. When the engine load or operating conditions change, the temperature regulator can adjust the coolant flow in a timely manner to ensure that the engine temperature remains stable.
