Function

1.Seal the radiator filler opening to prevent coolant leakage and stop dirt/debris entering the cooling system.

2.Maintain rated pressure inside the radiator. Pressurization raises the boiling point of coolant, allowing the engine to run at higher working temperature without overheating.

3.Pressure relief function: When internal coolant pressure exceeds the set value, the valve opens to release excess pressure and protect the radiator and cooling components from burst damage.

4.Vacuum compensation: When the engine cools down and coolant shrinks, the vacuum valve opens to draw coolant back from the expansion tank, avoiding negative pressure and air ingress into the cooling circuit. This cap fits Komatsu bulldozers and motor graders such as D61, D65 series.
