Functions

1.Combustion sealing (Compression rings) Form tight sealing between piston and cylinder liner. Prevent high-pressure combustion gas from leaking into crankcase, maintain cylinder compression, guarantee engine power output and fuel efficiency.

2.Oil control (Oil ring) Scrape excess lubricating oil off cylinder wall back to crankcase. Keep only an ultra-thin uniform oil film for lubrication, avoid engine oil burning and blue exhaust smoke.

3.Heat transfer Conduct heat absorbed by piston during combustion to cylinder liner, dissipate heat via cooling system, protect piston from overheating damage.

4.Piston guiding & supporting Support piston inside cylinder bore, reduce piston swing and direct metal contact between piston and cylinder wall, lower friction and wear.
