Function

1.Securely lock valve spring It sits on top of the valve spring and is fixed on the valve stem by valve keepers. It holds the valve spring in correct axial position, prevents spring shifting, tilting or dislodging under high engine speed and vibration.

2.Transmit spring preload force Distribute the spring compression force evenly. When camshaft pushes valve open, the retainer compresses the valve spring; when cam lobe releases, spring rebounds through retainer to close intake/exhaust valve tightly against valve seat.

3.Rotocoil design for valve rotation This is Rotocoil style retainer. It creates slight rotary motion for the valve during operation, making valve head rotate slowly. This helps uniform valve seat wear, removes carbon deposits and avoids local hot spot or valve burning.

4.High temperature & impact resistance Made of hardened alloy steel, withstand continuous cylinder head high temperature, cyclic impact and centrifugal force from valve train movement.

5.Shielding protection Built-in shield structure reduces friction and collision between spring coils, minimizes spring fatigue and breakage risk.
