Function

1.Torque transmission partner Works together with friction discs to transfer engine torque. When hydraulic pressure applies, it clamps against friction plates to lock the clutch pack and deliver power to the transmission planetary gear set.

2.Separate friction discs & maintain uniform gap Keeps a fixed clearance between friction plates when clutch is released. Prevents friction discs from sticking together, guarantees smooth disengagement for gear shifting.

3.Bear clamping pressure Withstand heavy axial hydraulic clamping force during clutch engagement. Distribute pressure evenly across the whole friction surface to avoid local overloading.

4.Heat dissipation Forms oil flow passages between plates. Transmission oil flows through the gaps to carry away friction heat generated during slipping and engagement, preventing overheating and friction material burning.

5.Support & alignment External teeth lock into transmission housing, so the plate stays stationary while friction discs rotate. Maintain concentricity of the whole clutch stack.
