Function

1.Seal air cleaner housing Fasten and seal the rear end of air cleaner housing. Compress sealing gasket to form a fully closed air‑filter chamber, force all incoming air to pass through filter element, prevent unfiltered dust, sand and debris bypassing the filter and entering engine cylinders.

2.Protect internal filter elements Physically shield primary & secondary air filter cartridges against external impact, rain splash and construction‑site dirt; avoid filter element deformation or damage under harsh working conditions.

3.Mount dust ejector valve Reserve installation position for dust‑ejector rubber valve. It collects centrifugally separated heavy dust inside air cleaner, enables automatic dust discharge during engine shutdown.

4.Maintain intake negative‑pressure environment Keep air‑box internal pressure stable. Poor sealing caused by deformed / cracked cover will cause unfiltered air leakage, lead to rapid engine cylinder, piston and turbocharger wear.

5.Facilitate filter maintenance Quick‑release cover structure, allow easy opening for inspection, removal and replacement of inner and outer air filter elements during routine service.
