Functions

1.Piston‑pin supporting: Installed inside the small‑end bore of connecting rod, provides precision bearing surface for piston pin, holds piston pin in correct position during high‑speed reciprocating motion.

2.Friction & wear reduction: Separates direct metal‑to‑metal contact between connecting‑rod small end and piston pin, minimizes sliding friction when piston pin swings and rotates.

3.Load bearing & distribution: Bears huge alternating impact loads generated from cylinder combustion, distributes concentrated force evenly over bushing surface, protects expensive connecting‑rod small‑end bore and piston pin from damage.

4.Lubrication passage: Equipped with oil hole, allows pressurized engine oil to flow into clearance between bushing and piston pin, forms lubricating oil film for continuous cooling and lubrication.

5.Shock absorption: Absorb partial mechanical shock from piston movement, stabilize piston assembly operation.
