| This gear meshes with the engine power take-off gear to transfer rotational torque from the diesel engine to the hydraulic main pump. It converts engine mechanical rotation into driving force for the pump’s internal swash plate and piston assembly, which generates high-pressure hydraulic oil for all excavator working circuits (boom, arm, bucket, travel and swing). |

| It fixes the transmission ratio between engine RPM and hydraulic pump rotation speed. Stable gear tooth engagement ensures the pump outputs consistent hydraulic flow and pressure corresponding to engine throttle position, avoiding unbalanced power output, jitter or slow movement of work attachments. |
