| Working Principle |
1. Power Input: Pressurized hydraulic fluid from the excavator’s main pump flows into the axial piston motor, driving the motor shaft to rotate. |
| 2. Torque Amplification: The motor shaft drives the sun gear of the planetary gearbox; the planetary gears rotate around the sun gear and the ring gear, amplifying torque through 3-stage reduction. |
| 3. Rotation Drive: The final gear output shaft connects to the excavator’s upper carriage, transmitting torque to enable 360° slewing. |
| 4. Braking Control: When the operator releases the swing joystick, hydraulic pressure to the brake is cut off; springs push the brake discs together to lock the swing device. Hydraulic pressure must be applied to release the brake for slewing. |
