• Function

1.Power Transmission: It can transmit the power of the engine to the transmission system. The clutch plate is installed between the pressure plate and the flywheel. When the driver depresses the clutch pedal, the pressure plate applies pressure to the clutch plate, making it contact the flywheel. Due to the friction between them, the power of the engine is transmitted to the clutch plate and then to the transmission, providing power for the vehicle's operation.

2.Power Disconnection: When the driver releases the clutch pedal, the separation bearing makes the clutch plate disengage from the flywheel, interrupting the power transmission between the engine and the transmission. This function is crucial for gear - shifting. It allows the gears in the transmission to shift smoothly without interference from the engine's power, ensuring the smoothness and safety of gear - shifting operations.
