Latest company news about Five Key Points for Excavator Travel

When operating an excavator, it is important to follow these five key points to ensure the stability and safety of the travel system:

Maintain Normal Equipment Operation
Regularly check the pressure of the travel proportional valve and ensure it stays within the standard range. Clean the valve body and oil circuit to prevent impurities and contaminants from damaging the system. Replace the hydraulic oil and filter elements in a timely manner to ensure smooth oil flow.

Handling Abnormal Situations
Pay close attention to the excavator's travel status and promptly identify and address any abnormalities. For example, if abnormal pressure is detected in the system, take immediate action, such as cleaning and replacing the filter elements.

Follow Operational Procedures
Adhere to standard operating procedures to avoid human-caused faults. For instance, avoid idling on steep slopes for long periods to prevent the lubrication effect from being compromised.

Enhance Equipment Stability
When the excavator is moving, try to keep the working equipment retracted and close to the machine body to improve stability. While driving, avoid running over hard obstacles such as stumps and rocks, which could cause track twisting or deformation. If you must cross such obstacles, ensure that the center of the track is aligned with the obstacle to disperse the impact force. When passing over soil mounds, always use the working equipment to support the chassis to prevent excessive shaking or tipping of the machine. If the machine needs to travel for extended periods, stop periodically to allow it to cool down, thus extending the lifespan of the lower body.
