Our customers’ strategic investment in autonomous haulage technology and equipment highlights the system’s tangible value. Unsurprisingly, AHS has helped them achieve hundreds of millions in savings while autonomously moving billions of tons of essential minerals—all while driving toward a "zero harm" safety vision.

Customers deploying our autonomous haulage solution recognize the comprehensive value of AHS, with cost savings as a primary driver. Take our recent milestone of three billion tons moved autonomously: based on 2020 estimates from mining analyst GlobalData (which projected $0.50–$0.62 per ton in operational cost reductions, as noted in mid-2018), AHS clients may have saved up to $600 million since we crossed the two-billion-ton threshold in November 2018.

During a recent webinar on digital innovation in mine safety, experts emphasized that mining firms will continue prioritizing technology to keep workers out of hazardous environments. Autonomous systems represent a critical step toward this goal.
